Stop the War Coalition

Issue No. 1826

THE STOP the War Coalition is organising a national conference for Saturday 7 December. The coalition has built the resistance to Bush and Blair's war drive in Iraq. It co-organised a 400,000-strong march in London on 28 September and called the nationwide day of action on 31 October.

The coalition has called the conference to strengthen the broad movement. The conference will debate resolutions relating to the work of the coalition, the US-British 'war on terror' and developing the movement. It will also elect a new steering committee. Affiliated local groups, organisations and individuals can attend as delegates.

Stop the War Coalition national conference, Saturday 7 December, 10am-5pm, Camden Town Hall, London (opposite King's Cross railway station). Phone 020 7053 2155/6 or go to
