A TRIBUNAL in Liverpool into the unfair dismissal claim of John Davis is continuing. John is one of the 87 Friction Dynamics TGWU union workers from North Wales who were sacked after taking eight weeks strike action.

If he is successful the other 86 workers will automatically win their unfair dismissal claims.

STRIKE ACTION could close magistrates' courts in the West Midlands after staff voted to take action for more pay. The Magistrates' Courts Committee imposed a pay cut on a quarter of the court staff.

WORKERS AT the Granada TV station are balloting for strike action over pay.

The workers, members of the Bectu trade union, have rejected a 2 percent pay offer. The ballot is due to close on 25 November.
