Stop the war

ABOUT 450 people attended a Stop the War Coalition public meeting in Liverpool last week. It was held two days after the huge anti-war demonstration in London and included speakers such as Bob Wareing MP, Bruce Kent, Lindsey German and a local FBU union official.

Over £900 was raised for the coalition and many people pledged to be part of mass opposition to the war on Thursday 31 October.

Don't Attack Iraq, public meeting with George Galloway MP and Bob Crow, Tuesday 22 October, 7.30pm, Liz Cantrell Room, Ealing Town Hall. Called by Ealing Trades Council.
