Issue No. 1818

'The US is hell bent on attacking Iraq to impose regime change. On 28 September I will be proud to demonstrate against war. The whole trade union movement should be there.'
Mick Rix, Aslef rail workers' union leader

'Tens of thousands of people up and down the country are organising to turn 28 September into one of the biggest anti-war demonstrations ever. We can stop Bush and Blair'

Gary Younge, columnist, in the Guardian

'The superpower is rampant, and the Blair government is in its pocket. Everybody who can possibly come on 28 September must come and fill the centre of London with people who say no to Blair and Bush.'
