A military court in Israel has extended the detention of a Palestinian teenager who was filmed slapping Israeli soldiers.
The footage has made Ahed Tamimi a hero to Palestinians suffering repression at the hands of the Israeli state. Israel has also detained Tamimi's mother and cousin. This is Socialist Worker cartoonist Tim Sanders' view of the scandal.
