Socialist Worker

£100,072 and rising

Issue No. 1931

Into six figures

Socialist Worker would like to thank all our readers who have helped us break through the £100,000 mark in our appeal.

Socialist Worker is a campaigning newspaper which tells the truth. Almost every other newspaper rushed to condemn George Galloway when the false allegations against him appeared last April.

Socialist Worker, however, threw everything into defending George Galloway and the anti-war movement from these lies.

We, like George, were proved right by last week’s stunning court verdict against the pro-war Daily Telegraph and its many supporters in the politcal establishment.

Our appeal is essential in allowing us to continue to be able to stand up and make our voice heard against the smears and the lies of the capitalist press.

Your donations have already enabled us to buy some urgently required computer equipment, update our photo library and prepare for a move to better premises.

Please continue to send us your donations so that we can improve your paper even more.On page 10 you will find a list of excellent events which are fundraisers for the appeal.

You can donate securely online here or by phone on 020 7538 2707. Post cheques (payable to “SW Moving Fund”) and send to PO Box 82, London E3 3LH.

If you enjoy Socialist Worker, please consider giving to our annual appeal to make sure we can maintain and develop our online and print versions of Socialist Worker. Go here for details and to donate.
