Lecturers

Issue No. 1809

A MEETING of 50 activists from the lecturers' union Natfhe has agreed significant steps to coordinate resistance across colleges and universities. The annual general meeting of the Natfhe Rank and File group was the largest for many years.

The meeting discussed how to push for renewed strikes over pay in colleges next term. The meeting agreed to expand the officers of the Rank and File group, develop a bulletin (based on the experience of unofficial publications such as the postal workers' Post Worker), and to use it to build a serious network at the base of the union.
