THIS IS a moving photo of Carlo Giuliani, murdered by Italian police during last year's G8 Genoa protests. It was taken by socialist photographer Jess Hurd. It forms part of the new 'Crisis' exhibition.
'Crisis' looks at the effects of capitalism and the struggle against it. The exhibition, by Jess Hurd and Alke Schmidt, takes place between 16 July and 4 August. It is at Vaults@The Foundry, 84-86 Great Eastern Street, Shoreditch, London EC2 (Old Street tube).
The photo of Carlo Giuliani has been selected for the John Kobal photographic awards at the National Gallery in London from September. After that it will be on display around the country.
