Peace Not War festival

THE PEACE Not War group is organising four nights of music and arts next week on the anniversary of last year's global protests against the war on Iraq. It takes place from Thursday 12 February-Sunday 15 February at the Hackney Ocean, 270 Mare Street, Hackney, east London (nearest station Hackney Central).

The festival aims to raise funds for the production of four new Peace Not War CDs, which will be donated to peace organisations to sell. Tickets are £15 per night from Club Tickets on 0871 711 3033. Thursday 12 February Rock & punk with Alabama 3, Eve & Penny (Crass), Lovegods, Goldblade. Friday 13 February Hip-hop with Blade, Taskforce, Skinnyman, Phi-Life-Cypher, Jehst, Navigator, Vadim. Saturday 14 February Dance with MC Tali and Full Cycle, Free*land, Howie B, Stereo MC Rob. Sunday 15 February Acoustic, world & jazz with Faithless (acoustic), Seize the Day, Slovo.
