Candidates face big questions

Two important campaigns — Stop the War and Defend Council Housing — have launched questionnaires aimed at election candidates.

The Stop the War Coalition has posed four questions on the war on Iraq, the occupation and civil liberties. The questions are to be put to candidates from all parties attending Stop the War elections hustings.

Defend Council Housing, which has successfully defeated attempts by local authorities to sell off council homes, has published ten questions and a pledge to be put to election candidates.
