Campaigners from the York Trade and Debt Justice Group held a successful event in York last weekend to raise awareness of global injustice.

Campaigners hope to organise a sizeable contingent from York for the Make Poverty History lobby of parliament on Wednesday 2 November.

Up to 500 supporters linked arms around Nottingham’s imposing Council House in the Market Square as part of White Band Day 2 last Saturday after a march and rally.
