Help Socialist Worker raise £150,000

Issue No. 1970

£4,000 was raised for the Socialist Worker Appeal on last Saturday’s Stop the War Coalition demonstration bringing the total raised in just over two weeks to £22,521. Some £64 was collected on just one coach from Liverpool.

One west London supporter collected £10 from a couple she takes Socialist Worker to each week and another £9 from friends on Saturday’s march. She tells us, “That’s just the start!” Among others who showed their support for our paper were two Labour Party members who each gave £5, a Respect member who gave £10 and a student who gave us a fiver.
