The Brontës lived at a time of huge social upheaval — 150 years may not seem so long ago, but it was a time when women were not allowed to enter a library.

I was really drawn into this play about the Brontë sisters — their determination to live and to write, and to change the world about them.

It is a fitting tribute to Anne, Charlotte and Emily Brontë, to the struggle they faced and their triumph.
