Postal workers at Carterton and Witney in Oxfordshire returned to work after unofficial strikes last week.
The Carterton strike began after a worker was suspended for failing to complete his round because of excessive workload.
Witney workers walked out over the way a staff member was treated after returning to work following sick leave. Bicester workers later staged a brief solidarity walkout.
Negotiations last week saw agreement that there would be investigations into management behaviour and the suspended worker is to be reinstated at a nearby office. “But because of continuing provocation by managers, this remains a very hot situation,” a CWU union spokesperson told Socialist Worker.
