Anti-cuts march
It would have taken more than torrential rain last Saturday to keep the people of Cumbria from marching to stop their Westmorland hospital from closing the essential heart and cardiac ward.
Over 5,000 people came from towns and villages across the region – journeys of well over an hour in many cases.
The campaign continues.
