LEWISHAM RESPECT, and others, are campaigning against the closure of Ladywell leisure centre in south east London.
The New Labour council only reopened it last month after spending £1.8 million on refurbishment.
Now the council plans to knock it down in 2007and build a school on the site.
We want to keep the leisure centre open.
We believe there is a need for a new secondary school—but not at the expense of a popular leisure centre.
