‘I am attending the Organising for Fighting Unions conference to join in the discussions about political representation.
Union leaders including Bob Crow, my own RMT general secretary, Mark Serwotka of the PCS and Matt Wrack of the FBU will be speaking. It will also be good to hear from John McDonnell, the left challenger for the Labour leadership.
It is going to be a very interesting and important event, and anything I can pick up I will take forward in my trade union.’
Agnes Lingard, assistant branch secretary to RMT London regional council
