Rosemary Byrne, MSP for South of Scotland, spoke to Socialist Worker about the future of the SSP.
“Tommy’s victory was a victory for the working class. The behaviour we have seen from some people in the party since then is not fitting for socialists or trade unionists,” she said.
“After Tommy’s victory against the News of the World, we should have been unified in our fight for socialism. The infighting and bitterness is detrimental to the people we should be representing who want to fight against war and poverty.”
