100 years ago the German revolution which begun the previous year saw an uprising by revolutionaries which was defeated and put down in blood by the freikorps - the forerunner to the Gestapo. The orders to kill the great revolutionaries Rosa Luxemburg and Karl liebknecht were given by the social democrats. Whilst the defeat of the uprising set back the revolution it did not end it. Huge upheavals, crisis and movements continued until 1923 and its final defeat. Come to this meeting to discuss this historical event and its lessons for today.

We will also be discussing building the fight against racism and austerity today.
