New Labour in east London is adopting the same practices that allowed the postal voting fraud exposed in Birmingham.

Respect obtained a mailing from Labour’s candidate in Bethnal Green & Bow, Oona King, urging people to register for a postal vote and to return the form not to election officials, but to her campaign headquarters.

“This is precisely what the high court judge in the Birmingham case condemned,” says Respect national secretary John Rees.
