Sunday 16 November

Born on the Fourth of July Vietnam veteran Ron Kovic introduces the Oliver Stone movie based on his life. 5pm, Prince Charles Cinema, Leicester Place (Leicester Square tube). Tickets £7: 020 7494 3654 (1.30pm-9pm).

Tuesday 18 November

Stop Bush rally With Harold Pinter, Tony Benn, Caroline Lucas, George Galloway, Alice Mahon, Ron Kovic, Kate Hudson and John Rees. 7.30pm, Friends Meeting House, Euston Road (Euston or Euston Square tube).

Wednesday 19 November

Alternative state procession With horse-drawn open carriage, rinky-dink, Critical Mass bike riders, anti-war taxi drivers, cheerleaders and big red peace bus. 11am, Jubilee Gardens.

A Royal Welcome Plays by Tony Kushner, Caryl Churchill and Martin Crimp. 1pm, Royal Court Theatre, Sloane Square (Sloane Square tube). Admission free.

The Deal and 9/11 Stephen Frears will introduce his recent TV film about the rise of Tony Blair.
