Western warmongers are stoking up hostility and fear about Iran.
They claim it is acquiring the technology to create a nuclear bomb.
Britain has imposed sanctions against all Iranian banks and expelled Iranian diplomats. It is calling for a European Union boycott of Iranian oil.
All this is done in the name of standing up to a repressive regime. This contrasts with the British government’s treatment of Bahrain’s rulers, who met with David Cameron this week (see right).
Any intervention by the West in Iran will set back the collective struggle by ordinary Iranians to win democracy and freedom.
