An Egyptian court has granted former dictator Hosni Mubarak a retrial over his responsibility for the killings of hundreds of protesters in 2011.
Ordinary people took to the streets of Egypt on 25 January 2011 and fought security forces for 18 days.
That uprising ended Mubarak’s reign, but still left a highly repressive regime intact.
Mubarak was sentenced to a life term in July of last year.
