US troops in Syria only threaten the revolution

The US government wants to score a win in its regional cold war against Iran. The revolutionary struggle for emancipation in Syria would become the collateral damage. 

The US would help suffocate the revolutionary struggle—just as the involvement of Russia, Iran and Hizbollah is doing.

Some might try to justify US intervention as a balance against the forces of the regime. 

But imperial powers, regional or international, want to preserve their interests in direct contradiction to the interests of the revolting masses.

The US does not want to help revolutionaries build a revolutionary Syria. It will prolong Assad’s Syria, even without Assad.

Victory must be delivered by the people themselves.
