Workers at the Adecco agency staff working for the British Cattle Movement Service (BCMS) in Workington, Cumbria, are voting over recognition of the PCS union.
The company made £35 million profits last year. Agency staff are paid on average £3 less per hour than permanent staff working on the same site. The ballot closes on 4 September.
