The government’s Export Credits Guarantee Department helped supply military equipment to repressive regimes in Zimbabwe and Egypt.
The inquiry will question the bosses of arms firms.
But the politicians who helped make their dirty deals possible should also be in the dock—such as David Cameron and Tony Blair.
