BA flew 32 empty long haul flights from Heathrow airport yesterday.

The Unite union has seen a list detailing the flight numbers. They were officially listed as freight flights, but were empty.

BA says that a three-day strike by cabin crew isn’t having much impact on its operations. It claims to have plenty of scabs ready to crew planes.

But the strike stopped the majority of BA planes flying and even those that are don’t all have cabin crew on them!

The strike is into it’s second day and lots of people have joined the picket lines again.

Many workers have returned to Heathrow on long-haul flights and come straight to the picket lines.

BA says it needs to save money – but is prepared to spend money flying empty planes thousands of miles around the world.

BA is spewing out propaganda to try and demoralise strikers.

But it is clear on the ground that the strike is having a real impact.
