Postal workers in Stevenage are preparing to march to defend their mail centre, which Royal Mail is threatening to close.
The local trades council and the Labour leader of the council last week backed the protest.
Paul Turnbull of the CWU union told Socialist Worker, “This closure is about preparing Royal Mail for privatisation—and we won’t stand for it.”
