BBC Scotland workers in the NUJ union were set to strike on Friday of this week and Monday of next week.
The walkouts are part of a national dispute against compulsory redundancies.
NUJ and Bectu are currently balloting nationally to strike following the NUJ’s national strike last month.
If the workers vote yes, the first joint national strike is expected to be called on 28 March.
Tour guides at the BBC have voted by 93 percent to strike against loss of earnings. The Bectu union members will lose up to 17 percent of their pay because of reduced working hours.
