A meeting demanding justice for those who have died in police custody has been called by the RMT transport workers’ union in London.

Janet Alder is the keynote speaker. Her brother Christopher died in custody in 1998. Other speakers include Samantha Rigg-David, sister of Sean Rigg who died in 2008, and Paddy Hill, who was one of the Birmingham Six.

The meeting is sponsored by Southern and Eastern Region TUC, CWU, Inquest, Miscarriages of Justice UK and Unite Against Fascism.
