Up to 150 people came to a council “drop-in” session on Friday of last week to oppose the demolition of Shepherd’s Bush Market.
Local residents, stallholders, and others shouted and chanted against the plan.
As well as the market, care centres and homeless shelters are also affected.
Andy Slaughter, Labour MP for Hammersmith, came to support the protest.
Now the newly-formed “Stop the Demolition” campaign is planning another protest outside Hammersmith town hall.
