Some 300 Cambridge students took to the streets last Saturday to demand an end to investment in the arms trade by Cambridge University’s colleges.

The protest was organised by Cambridge Students Against the Arms Trade, who have been campaigning for over a year on the issue of arms investments.

The ethical investment campaign is supported by Cambridge University Student Union. The protest was backed by a broad coalition of student societies, including People & Planet, the Labour Club, the Women’s Union and Cambridge Student Respect.
