Unite union members at Coca-Cola Enterprises in Edmonton, North London, joined protests by Coca-Cola workers across Europe and Britain on Wednesday of last week.
They are fighting restructuring plans that could cut up to 120 jobs in Britain.
The multinational company is hugely profitable, and boasts that its shareholders will have “a great 2011” while workers face job cuts and pay freezes.
The 120 Edmonton workers were set to renew their strikes against a 2 percent pay offer on Wednesday of last week, but the action was postponed for talks this week.
The company’s conditions for the talks caused an argument and a close vote at a factory meeting before the action was pulled.
Further factory meetings are needed to reinforce an overtime ban and build for the next strike days, set for Wednesday of this week and the following two Wednesdays.
