WORKERS AT major construction contractor Laing O’Rourke are rejecting the company’s pay and conditions package at site after site across Britain.
Over 100 Laing O’Rourke workers at the King’s Cross Channel Tunnel site in London joined the list of those opposed to the deal at a mass meeting last week.
There were also delegations from Canary Wharf, Newham Hospital and Heathrow. Some 200 workers on a site at Gatwick airport have yet to sign up to the deal and 40 more at Heathrow are due to voice their opposition.
