Doncaster Care UK workers’ strike committee was set to meet on Wednesday of this week to decide the next steps in their dispute. The Unison union members have struck for 34 days since the end of February.

Some workers face a £7,000 a year pay cut under new contracts imposed by Care UK bosses. Some 93 have refused to sign them. Unison rep Andy Squires told Socialist Worker, “We can’t wait to get back out on strike—this is not over. We are going to fight them all the way.”

Solidarity will be crucial to Care UK workers beating their bosses.
