Unite union members in Ealing, west London, have called off a two-week strike for talks with management.
The traffic wardens struck on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of last week.
They went into talks on Friday.
Workers are fighting for the reinstatement of sacked union rep Parveen Bhardwaj.
The traffic wardens were previously employed by the council but have now been outsourced to a private company.
A result from the talks was expected this week.
Workers previously struck on Thursdays and Fridays last month before escalating to a full week.
