Greenwich NUT

ADRIAN TIERNEY, secretary of the National Union of Teachers in Greenwich, south east London, has been charged with gross professional misconduct and could be sacked. The allegations have not been investigated fully by the school management, yet Adrian has been suspended and barred from all council property.

NUT union members at Crown Woods School and in Greenwich see this as an attempt by the head of Crown Woods and the Labour-run local authority to attack union organisation in the borough.

  • Fax messages of support for Adrian and the Crown Woods NUT group c/o NUT rep, 020 8294 1921.
  • Lobby against victimisation, Thursday 20 January, 7.30pm, Crown Woods School, Riefield Road, Eltham, SE9.
