Health privatisation threat in Surrey

NHS privatisation fears have also been raised in Surrey.

This follows news that sexual health services, children’s outpatient services, prison services, community nursing and other non-acute services are to be transferred out of NHS Surrey.

The Primary Care Trust last week named Assura Medical, the Virgin-owned company, as its preferred bidder for community health services.
