The long hours culture is getting worse, a survey shows.
One in four workers are at their desk by 7.30am and don’t leave until 6pm, the poll of 3,000 people showed.
This is a ten and a half hour working day.
Some 40 percent said they work through lunchtime.
And people do an average of 42 minutes of work at home every day—because they have too much to do during the day.
The average lunch break is now down to just 33 minutes.
