Up to 1,000 postal workers and their supporters joined a march and rally in Kingston, south west London, against the privatisation of Royal Mail last Saturday.
The protest, organised by the CWU union, took the fight to the seat of local Liberal Democrat MP Ed Davey, the postal affairs minister.
CWU deputy general secretary Dave Ward repeated his warning of strikes if the government attacks postal workers’ pensions.
