The UK Border Agency (UKBA) has agreed to review the case of three Kurdish Iranian asylum seekers who mounted a 37‑day hunger strike outside its headquarters in Croydon.
The men are terrified of being sent back to Iran where they were tortured by state forces. Their lawyers say that they had not been medically assessed during their first application, which would have confirmed their torture.
