NUJ members at Newsquest Cheshire and Merseyside took part in two days of strikes last week against compulsory redundancies.
Over 40 workers walked out on Tuesday this week and Wednesday last week. They have also started a work to rule.
The cuts put the local newspapers they work under huge threat.
The dispute involved the Warrington Guardian, Northwich Guardian, Sale and Altrincham Messenger, St Helens Star and the Wirral Globe.
