A flurry of action is planned to build on the 50,000‑strong student protest in central London last week.

  • Saturday 20 November:
    London-wide Education Activist Network organising meeting for 24 November Day of Action. 6pm, School of Oriental and African Studies, central London
  • Monday 22 November:
    London-wide Socialist Worker Student Society rally: The Case for Revolution, 6pm, LSE
  • Tuesday 23 November:
    London protest against Nick Clegg. 6pm, Kings Place, Hall 190 York Way, N1 9GU. Called by the Right to Work campaign
  • Tuesday 23 November:
    Defend the right to protest rally with Mark Serwotka (PCS general secretary) and James Haywood (arrested student). 7.30pm, Small Hall, Friends Meeting House, central London (opposite Euston station)
  • Wednesday 24 November:
    Day X. Walkouts, protests and occupations across Britain
    In London: 2pm: protest at Lib Dem HQ, 4 Cowley Street, SW1P 3NB
    5pm: march from Lincoln Inn Fields to rally at Downing Street at 6pm
  • Saturday 4 December:
    Benefit gig for Millbank protesters
