Workers at La Senza are occupying at the company’s store in Dublin’s Liffey Valley shopping centre. Some 1,300 workers in Britain and Ireland were left without a job when the company went into administration on Monday.

Workers fear they won’t be paid for December overtime. They don’t want to be last in the queue of creditors for redundancy payments.

Vanessa told Socialist Worker from the occupation, “We gave up time with our families over Christmas to turn up for work. We want what we are owed. We will be here to the end.”
