Beer pumps in 30,000 pubs are at risk of running dry. Some 970 delivery workers in the Unite union at brewer KNDL voted by 85 percent to strike on a 64 percent turnout. KNDL plans to move its stock from 29 depots to three super hubs for distribution.

The workers deliver Fosters, Kronenbourg, John Smith’s, Strongbow and other drinks. Talks continued as Socialist Worker went to press.
