Teachers at a Liverpool secondary school were set to strike on Wednesday of this week.
The strike at Shorefields secondary school in Dingle is by teachers in the NUT union fighting plans to turn the school into an academy.
Parents and students are also involved in the campaign to stop the academy.
They plan to join the picket lines to show their support for the strikers.
