Kurdish activists and their supporters marched in London yesterday (Tuesday) in protest at a massacre carried out by Turkish government forces.
A few days after Christmas Turkish F-16 jets rained bombs on to civilians in Uludere, in Turkey’s Kurdish region. Among the death toll of 34 were 19 children.
Yesterday marked 40 days since the killings, and the procession in London re-enacted the funerals of the victims.
The Western powers that claim to speak out for human rights raised no complaint over the slaughter.
