Some 200 lorry drivers based at Haydock, St Helens, struck for two hours on Friday of last week over pension changes.
The Sainsbury’s drivers, in the Unite union, fear they could see their pensions cut if the changes are made. Haydock is the first Sainsbury’s distribution centre to strike.
Five others—Birmingham, Basingstoke, Waltham Forest, Rye Park and Elstree—are balloting to join indefinite action starting in three weeks.
