Over 300 miners and their families marched from South Kirkby to South Elmsall in west Yorkshire last Saturday.
The march commemorated the death of local miner David Jones, who was killed while picketing during the Great Miners’ Strike, and the 30th anniversary of the strike.
The entire watch of the local fire station stood on the forecourt to support the march as it passed.
