Unison members at Middlesex University are balloting for strikes over the threat of 200 compulsory redundancies.

Workers at the university face the loss of almost one in seven jobs. The Unison branch plans to coordinate its action with the lecturers’ UCU union.

The ballot started on Friday of last week and closes on 23 September.
